This article will help parents and guardians upload files while completing online registration in TeacherEase. This provides a convenient and secure way to share proof of residency and other signed copies of school forms. In the example below, we will illustrate how proof of residency file upload works.
Below is a sample request for a file upload for proof of residency:
In general, there are two sections: a top portion, which includes information about accepted files, and a bottom portion, which contains the upload area. To upload a file, click the text in the gray box, and select your file(s) from the popup window. You can also drag files from your system directly into the gray box to upload them. You can upload multiple files into the same field.
Use good file names prior to uploading them. For example, Johnny Smith-June-Electric Bill.pdf will be easier to process by the school office than 060322.pdf. If you want to upload additional files, simply hit the icon in the upper right corner of the upload area or drag additional files into it.
If you do not want to upload a signed file, and would rather bring in a paper copy to the school, please check the box underneath the file upload area.
In some cases, the school may share a file with you in the instructions area. This is typically used when you need to download the school’s file, sign it, scan it, and send it back to the school. Processing such files looks the same as the example above.
