When a student transfers into your school after the start of the academic year, you may need grades from their previous school to calculate accurate semester or final averages. SchoolInsight allows administrators to enter transfer averages that can be included in grade calculations without recreating the student's previous assignments or grading records. This article explains how to enter transfer averages for a student.
To add transfer averages or weights after a student has been transferred:
- Go to School Main > Students Single-View (beta)
- Search for and select the student
- Select the Scheduling tab and the Rosters sub-tab
- Select Transfer Averages
- For each class and grading period, enter an average and weight
- Click Save
