The Employee Portal allows users to access their own information. Depending on the district permissions, you may be able to view your own pay stubs, request time off, submit updated W-4s, and more.
If your only role in SchoolInsight is Employee Portal User, then logging in should take you straight to your Employee Portal.
If you have multiple roles in SchoolInsight, then you will need to familiarize yourself with the Switch Role page.
You may see the Switch Role page immediately upon logging in. If so, simply select the Employee Portal User role from the list and click Continue to log in.
Beneath the list of roles is the option “When logging in, always start with the above role.” If this box has been checked in the past, you will be logged in directly to Instructor Main or some other area of the website instead of having the option to select a role right away.
To access the Employee Portal from Instructor Main, Admin Main, or SD Admin Main, hover over the Account menu at the top of the page, then select Switch Role.
To access the Employee Portal from Financials Main, hover over the Account menu on the left-hand sidebar. Then select Switch Role.If the Switch Role page does not include Employee Portal User in the list of roles, or if you do not have access to the Switch Role page, then you probably do not have an active Employee Portal account. Speak to an administrator at your district about gaining access.
