Employees can submit requests for future time off through the Employee Portal if the district has granted that permission.
Each time off request will be passed through an approval process (established by the district) until it is either approved or rejected.
To request time off:
- Go to Employee Portal Main > Time Off / Employee Attendance
- Request Time Off
- Enter the dates and a Time Off Type that you would like to use
- The dates you can request off may be limited by the administration
- The Balance shows your existing balance of the selected Time Off Type
- The Time Off Amount can be edited if you request one day off in order to request a partial absence for the day. When requesting multiple days off, the amount cannot be edited.
- Optionally, request a specific substitute to cover you during the absence
- Optionally, enter notes for the approver to see, explaining why you need time off or other relevant details
- Submit Request
The request will remain in the Unapproved Time Off Requests table until it is approved. You will receive an email notification when the request is approved or rejected.
