This article explains how to update the Local Education Agency (LEA) data fields that are required for Oklahoma Wave reporting. The Oklahoma State Department of Education (OSDE) requires the following LEA data fields to be reported to the Wave in the LEAInfo object. Additionally, the OSDE requires you to provide LEA contact information.

- Session Type
- Lunch Provision Programs
- Title 1 Status
- NCES ID
- State Province ID
- Latitude
- Longitude
- School Status
- School Category
- Focus Type
- National School Lunch Program Status Type
- URL
- Principal Name
- Principal Titles
LEA Contacts
- Contact First Name
- Contact Last Name
- Position Title
- Phone Number
- Publish In Directory
LEA data can be added via the Verify Data or the School WAVE Info page. Additionally, LEA Contacts can be added and updated via the employee pages.
School Wave Info
The School Wave info is where schools can enter the following LEA required data:
- Go to School Main > WAVE/SIF data > School WAVE Info > Edit
- Enter Data
- Save
Add LEA Contact Data
Admins can indicate which employees will be designated as the LEA OSDE contact and can also remove employees from this role. The OSDE requires that at least one person be designated as the LEA contact and that home phone number and position title are provided for these employees.
To update employee information for an LEA contact:
- Go To District/School Main > Employees > Edit
- Enter the Phone Number for home
- Scroll to the Employee Demographic Data
- To add an employee as the LEA contact
- Find the Export as State Contact section
- Check the box for LEA Position Title
- Enter the LEA Position Title
- To remove an employee as the LEA contact
- Uncheck the LEA Position Title
- Blank out any entry entered on those fields
- Save
