This article explains how to assign a calendar to one or multiple students at a time.
It is very common to have multiple academic calendars. For instance, different calendars could have different in-person and remote learning days. A separate calendar is also recommended for grade levels that graduate earlier than the rest of the students. Finally, adding external calendars is recommended when you keep track of attendance for students that attend schools outside of your district.
To mass assign a calendar to students:
- Go to School Main > Academic Calendars > Mass Assign Calendars
- Select a calendar to assign
- (Optional) filter the students displayed on the screen
- Check the main checkbox on the top left corner of the students table to have all students checked or check individual students
- Save to assign the selected calendar to all checked students
In order to filter the students table click on the menu button next to any column title and choose the filter option. Depending on the selected column you will be able to select one or more available values for that column. The page will then refresh and display students with the selected filter option.
When a student changes groups or requires a new calendar, you can change the assigned calendar for that student.
To change the selected calendar for a single student:
- Go to Main > Students single-view
- Search for and select the student
- Edit
- Scroll to the Enrollment Details table
- Select a value from the calendar drop down
- Save
