This article explains how to enter academic year instructional minutes, minutes per day, lunch minutes, date first nine weeks ends and calendar type on the calendar for an Oklahoma public school. These values are requested by the Oklahoma State Department of Education (OSDE) via the Wave at the very beginning of the academic year after Wave reporting is initiated as well as throughout the year as needed for state reporting. Therefore, they should be entered before initiating Wave reporting for the year and also updated when your student attendance days change.
Before you can enter minutes on the academic calendar, you will first need to know each of the values that are required. To learn more about calculating Minutes Per Day, Lunch Minutes, and Instructional Minutes, click here.
