One of the most common reasons for not seeing a class on report cards is having no report card item list assigned at the course level. Sometimes a teacher will go to enter report card grades, but certain classes will not show up. Other times, the admin will generate a report card for students, but notice that some classes are missing.
There are two ways to solve this:
Edit a single course
To assign a report card item list to a single course:
- Go to Admin Main > Courses > Course - Single View
- Find and select the course
- Edit Course
- Go to the Yearly Data tab
- Select a report card item list
- Save
Mass assign report card items list
This can be resolved by admins who can assign report card item lists as follows:
- Go to Admin Main > Grade Reporting > Report Card Item Lists > Assign to Courses
- Options to Set
- Select the proper report card item list
- Courses to update
- Check the check box next to each course that should have the selected report card item list assigned to it
- Save
