How do I run class rank?

The class rank report allows admin to generate class rank for students based on their report card GPAs. This is a helpful tool to use when deciding on the class valedictorian and determining where students fall in the overall class ranking.

To generate the class rank report:

  1. Go to School Main > Grade Reporting > Class Rank
  2. Enter a Report Title 
  3. Select which Academic Year the report will generate for
  4. Choose a Grade Level to calculate for
  5. Select which Time Frame you would like the report to generate for
    • Grading Period will allow you to select one period in which the report will calculate for
    • Selecting Year will calculate for the current academic year
    • Cumulative will pull the data across all academic years for the current school
  6. Choose a GPA Mode to display the Weighted GPA value or Unweighted GPA value
  7. Enabling certain Options will allow you to display or hide certain data, or control how the report will generate
  8. Generate Report

Removing a student from class rank

In the event that a student exits the school and you do not want them to factor into class rank, you are able to remove them from appearing. This allows for an accurate class ranking for active students in the grade level. 

To remove an inactive student from class rank:

  1. Go to Main > Students - Single View
  2. Search for the Student
  3. Edit
  4. Find Include In Class Rank and select N
  5. Save
