Occasionally a mistake is made and a timecard needs to be deleted and started over.
Timecards may be deleted by either the employee or by a Financial User.
Financial User Timecard Deletion
You may delete a timecard for an individual employee from the main Timecards page
- Go to Financials Main > Payroll > Timecards
- Find the timecard you wish to delete and select the pencil to edit
- Use the Pay Period dropdown menu to select the correct dates
- Click the eraser symbol at the top of each position that has hours in it
- Click Save Only at the bottom of the page
The timecard will disappear from the main Timecard page and the employee will be able to start fresh from their template.
Employee Timecard Deletion
The employee may delete a timecard for themselves by
- Go to Employee Portal Main > Timecards
- Find the timecard you wish to delete and select the pencil to edit
- Click the eraser symbol at the top of each position that has hours in it
- Click Save Only at the bottom of the page
The timecard will disappear from the Timecards page and the employee will be able to start fresh from their template by clicking Enter Timecard again.
