The online payment options give control over important considerations before allowing parents and staff to pay online. These options control features such as max payment amount and convenience fees that parents/staff pay as part of each transaction. The following article outlines the various online payment options and their function.
If you are looking to set up online payments for the first time and have not yet submitted a Payrix application, please contact us at support@common-goal.com to get started.
To review online payment options:
- Go to Main > Online Payments > Options
- Click the
icon to edit Online Payment Options
- Check Enable Online Payment to allow parents to make payments
- (Optional) Set a Max Payment amount per single transaction to avoid large fees
- (Optional) Set Convenience Fee to Yes to recoup some/all transaction fees from payers
- Check Set to Match Processing Costs to forward the entire transaction fees the school pays to the payers
- Otherwise, you can select a percentage fee, a flat fee, or a combination of both per transaction
- (Optional) Set Allow Refunds to yes, if you would like to issue refunds through Payrix (transaction fees are not refunded)
- (Optional) Enter a custom refund policy message to display to parents
- Save
