SchoolInsight uses Payrix as the back end online payment processor. This is a reference guide for completing the Payrix Onboarding forms. The recommendations provided are based on discussions with Payrix about the best practices for each section.
Initial Setup
You can start the Payrix account application from SchoolInsight. To access the Payrix application:
- Go to Main > Online Payments > Options > Create Payrix Account
If you are unable to see the Create Payrix Account link, please contact us at support@common-goal.com to have online payments enabled for your district.
Using this Guide
Each section in this guide relates to a section of the Payrix form, which is split into two parts by a ( > ) symbol. For example: Business > Business Overview:
- The first part of the section title (e.g. Business > ) calls out the tab at the top of the Payrix form.
- The second part of the section title (e.g. > Business Overview) calls out the section within the tab.

Note: Government entities are exempt from entering SSN. If your school is a governmental entity, then set Business Type to GOV.

Note: Government entities are exempt from providing SSN. If you’ve set Business Type to GOV, then set SSN to 999999999.
