The Verify Attendance Roster page is displayed when the attendance mode option is set to Self-Contained and one or more students are enrolled in more than one class that is set to take attendance. In this case, the program cannot determine which attendance should be imported for the student(s) for their Daily Attendance. This may happen when a class that isn't used for attendance is erroneously set to take attendance or when a student is erroneously added to a roster.
The Verify Attendance Roster page includes links that can be used to correct the multiple roster entries. The admin will need to correct the multiple roster entries in one of four ways before the attendance can be imported:
- Adjust roster entry/exit dates from the Verify Attendance Roster page
- edit roster
- Enter an entry date that is after the date that attendance is being entered for or an exit date that is before the date that attendance is being entered for
- Save
- Delete the student(s) from the class on the Verify Attendance Roster page
- delete student
- Delete
- Set the class(es) to not take attendance
- Edit individual classes on the Verify Attendance Roster page
- edit class
- Remove the checkmark from the Take Attendance option
- Save
- Mass edit classes to remove the attendance option from classes that do not take attendance
- Admin Main > Classes/Sections > Mass Edit
- Set the Take Attendance option to No
- Select the classes that should not take attendance
- Save
