How does an admin view the parent/student portal?

As an admin user, you are able to view the parent portal in several ways.  This can help you see the information available to a parent exactly as he or she sees it.  

From the Admin Main (or School District Admin Main) page

  1. Go to Admin Main > Communications > Goto Parent Portal
  2. Search for the student of the parent you’d like to view
  3. Click the Goto button

You can also get to the parent portal from the student’s individual record

  1. Go to Admin Main > Students - Single View
  2. Search for the student you’d like to see
  3. Click the Goto button
