An academic track defines the collective list of courses and/or subjects that are required at each grade level. Academic tracks guide the the course request process so that admins, students, and parents can see and select only courses that match the academic track that the student is assigned to.
Schools may have multiple academic tracks in order to meet the needs of students with diverse academic needs. For example, a school may have one academic track with course options for students who plan to attend college and a different academic track for students who plan to attend vocational school.
