Troubleshooting GSA Claimable Attendance
The GSA Report includes all students who are marked claimable, regardless of home school and serving school. If the Individual Student Details report does not match the GSA report, consider the following:
- There may be students with a non-self home school who have Claimable for State Aid = Yes. Use the custom report feature in SchoolInsight to generate a report that lists all students with a non-self serving school that have Claimable for State Aid = Yes.
- Take one of the following actions in order to be able to use the Individual Student Details report as a validation report for the GSA:
- Include home schools of the students who have Claimable for State Aid = Yes
- Edit the students who have Claimable for State Aid = Yes and a non-self home school. For those students, set Claimable for State Aid = No.
Troubleshooting GSA Non Claimable Attendance
The GSA Non Claimable data includes all students who are marked non claimable, regardless of the student home school and serving school. If the Individual Student Details report does not match the GSA report, consider the following:
- There may be students with a self home school who have Claimable for State Aid = No. Use the custom report feature in SchoolInsight to generate a report that lists all students with a self home school that have Claimable for State Aid = No.
- Take one of the following actions in order to be able to use the Individual Student Details report as a validation report for the GSA:
- Include the “self” home schools if there are students in the self school that have Claimable for State Aid = No
- Edit the students who have Claimable for State Aid = No and a self home school. For those students, set Claimable for State Aid = Yes.
